The EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Operator supports the tooling group in a fast-paced manufacturing business. The successful candidate must be a self-starter having a sense of ownership of their projects, and highly organized with a willingness to grow within the EDM group.
- Monday - Friday (Saturday's if needed)
- 6am - 4pm
- $20/hour - Paid Weekly

Key Responsibilities
· Electrode Design: Design precision electrodes from project data using Visi Tooling CAD software
· NC Programming: Program electrodes efficiently utilizing Visi CAM software
· Preparation & Setup: Cut electrode blanks and accurately mount them into Erowa holders
· Electrode Machining: Operate and machine electrodes using Makino CNC electrode cutting machines
· EDM Operation: Load, locate, and burn components using three Makino sinker EDM machines
· Automation (Preferred): Utilize knowledge of Erowa electrode feeding robots to optimize workflows
· ERP Tracking: Complete daily production tracking and data entry within the Epicor ERP system
Qualifications & Requirements
· EDM Experience: Proven background working directly as an EDM Operator
· Manufacturing Background: Experience in production and/or prototype injection molding
· Industry Sector: Experience in the automotive manufacturing sector is strongly preferred
· Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills with high attention to technical detail
· Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred Skills & Experience
· Software: Hands-on experience with Visi CAD/CAM software
· Equipment: Direct experience operating Makino sinker EDM and CNC electrode cutting machinery
· ERP Systems: Prior exposure to Epicor ERP or similar manufacturing execution software
Pay: $20.00 per hour
