The Teacher at St. Michael Catholic School is responsible for providing a faith-based, engaging, and academically rigorous learning environment for students. Essential Job Functions
Instructional Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction in accordance with the school’s curriculum, standards, and lesson plans.

Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessment tools to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Differentiate instruction to accommodate individual student needs and learning styles.

Integrate Catholic teachings, Gospel values, and faith formation into daily instruction.

Maintain accurate and timely records of student grades, assessments, and progress.

Monitor and support student learning and development, providing additional support as needed.

Incorporate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning.
Classroom Management & Student Support

Create and maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment.

Establish and communicate clear expectations for student behavior and learning.

Implement effective classroom management techniques aligned with school policies.

Support students’ social-emotional development and foster respect, responsibility, and Christian values.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and achievement.
