American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU Nights position at a community hospital in Warsaw, IN, requiring 1-2 years of critical care experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Located in a 72-bed community hospital with a 14-bed ICU
-
ICU patient population includes ventilator-dependent patients, IV drips, IV sedation, and occasional post-procedure recoveries after hours
-
Patient ratio is 2:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity
-
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every 3rd weekend required
-
No on-call requirements

Floating to Med/Surg Telemetry may be required, with a 6:1 ratio, or PCU overflow at 1:5

EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)

Active IN or compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
-
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

1-2 years of recent critical care experience required

Valid driver's license required
-
ECMO and trauma ERRT experience are not required and not expected

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities include caring for vent-dependent patients, managing IV drips and sedation, and supporting post-procedure recoveries after hours

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
