Sail Healthcare is a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company specializing in complex respiratory care. We’re seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team. This position is on-site.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Community Outreach Team to develop referral opportunities and support the relationship between outreach team, referral sources and Sail. The expectation is for collaboration for the development and growth of Sail Healthcare, through delivery of dependable, expert ventilator based respiratory care.
- Work with Community Outreach Team to enable each RT to develop and manage referral sources. The expectation is 2 – 4 referral sources per RT. Community Outreach activities are collated and reported to Community Outreach Team.
- Work with Case Management to achieve necessary authorizations for patient services. This includes evaluating patient documentation for eligibility, development of LMN’s, advising the medical community on payer requirements for necessary patient services.
- Meet with Medical Director to discuss issues and situations relevant to Sail Ensure the accuracy of patient/client documentation.
- Ensure communication with physicians regarding the clinical progress of Respiratory Care client/patients.
- Respond to Respiratory Care client/patient inquiries as needed and resolve client/patient complaints in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to organize and plan the activities of subordinates, and to delegate appropriately. Prefer 2 years management experience.
- Certified and/or Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care, and licensed and in good standing with the State of Texas.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Two years of respiratory homecare experience.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years.
