Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team on Second shift in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that support production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the process. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Duties
- Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools to assist in the assembly and fabrication and painting of products.
- Support operations by organizing materials, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Assist with basic mechanical tasks as needed, leveraging mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and working within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Operate forklifts safely for transporting materials within the factory as required.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools is essential for effective performance in this role.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is preferred.
- Proficient in reading a tape measure.
- Ability to work effectively in a shop setting, including familiarity with inventory management practices.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus, with a commitment to safety practices at all times.
