Job Summary
As a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) at Amada Senior Care you will help us to create a safe and nurturing environment for our clients while delivering compassionate care through a highly personalized care experience. This will be achieved by performing all Nurse Assessments as required by the state, developing an individualized plan of care, performing supervisory visits, as well as providing training to our caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' health status, medical history, and specific care needs
- Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the clients and their families.
- Act as an advocate for our clients, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected throughout their care journey. Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to promote the client's well-being.
- Stay up to date and ensure strict adherence with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing non-medical home care services.
- Facilitate training programs and workshops for our caregivers. Focus on best practices, safety protocols, and client-specific requirements.
- Monitor the delivery of care to ensure it aligns with the established care plans and regulatory standards. Conduct regular evaluations of the client and make necessary adjustments to enhance the quality of care.

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation standards.
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance standards in non-medical home care.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) assessments is a plus.
