Job Title: Director of Finance
Location: St. Ann Catholic Parish (Gulf Breeze, FL)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week

The Opportunity: We are seeking a mission-minded, professional, and detail-oriented Director of Finance. This vital role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of the financial and payroll operations across St. Ann Catholic Church, Our Lady of the Assumption Mission, and St. Ann Discovery School. Working collaboratively with parish/school leadership and the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, the Director safeguards parish assets and supports our ministries through sound financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance and accounts payable.
- Administer the parish payroll system and related benefit requirements in coordination with the diocesan provider.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for parish leadership and the Finance Council.
- Serve as the primary liaison with banks, auditors, and the diocesan finance office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR must possess either 1–3 years of experience as an Accountant OR 10+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (experience with SAGE Intacct or Paycor is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must successfully pass DCFS background and credit screenings.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
