Duties
- Develop detailed project schedules utilizing advanced project management tools to ensure timely completion of construction phases.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to review and interpret schematics, CAD drawings (including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation), and system design documents.
- Coordinate fabrication and manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards such as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and lean manufacturing principles.
- Conduct root cause analysis for project delays or technical issues, implementing effective troubleshooting strategies.
- Oversee the integration of electrical, mechanical, civil, and systems engineering components into cohesive construction plans.
- Utilize programming languages like Python or C++ for automation tasks or system simulations related to project development.
- Perform system debugging and maintenance planning to optimize operational efficiency post-construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all project phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in construction project management or engineering roles with a focus on system design and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks for detailed design work.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools and techniques to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, lean principles, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting methods.
- Technical skills in programming languages including Python or C++, along with MATLAB or similar tools for modeling and simulation.
- Understanding of GD&T standards, schematics interpretation, and electrical/mechanical system integration.
