Requirements
· Able to perform any and all set-ups on CNC press brakes.
· Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand held measuring tools (standard and metric measuring tape, protractor, calipers and height stand.)
· Must be able to setup and operate press brakes, select correct tooling and determine offsets.
· Knowledge of CNC controls.
· Must have 2 years’ experience.
· Must be a team player with excellent attendance record.
· Accurately record production in the provided ERP system when beginning and completing jobs, (ex. start and stop times, scrap, quantity, etc.)
Training Requirements:
- General Safety.
- Quality System Awareness.
- Fork Lift Operation.
Physical Demands:
· Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
· Light to moderate physical effort required.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
· Safety Glasses are required.
· Steel toe shoes are required.
· Hearing protection is required.
Work Environment:
· Work performed in a Manufacturing environment.
· Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemical and other elements.
- Maintain day-to-day production activities by performing setups and production rates as needed to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Ensure products meet print and router requirements, both dimensionally and per listed times given on routers.
- Strive to look for and identify ways to streamline workflow in your area, suggestions for improvements are not only welcome, but they are also expected.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.
- Must be familiar with the basic machine functions to perform the tasks stated above.
- Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance regarding machine set-up.
