Status: Part time, during the school year
Schedule: Mon-Fri 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (15 hours per week) with the potential for weekend work required to support major school events.
Minimum Position Requirements: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required. Sound judgment, discretion, professionalism and confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Ability to multi-task and maintain calm and polite to all constituents. Proficiency in Word.
Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining front office communication with students, parents, visitors and faculty and staff and managing daily student attendance.
Supervisory Responsibilities: NA
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer phone and assist parents and other callers with questions and requests, check voice mail messages and respond or forward as necessary, maintain front office voice mail message as needed
- Maintain supervision of all doors using security cameras and external intercoms greet visitors, assist them as they sign in and arrange for final destination at school
- Make announcements sporadically regarding departure times of buses
- Make announcements calling girls to the front office for pick up
- Receive and sign for packages from UPS, FedEx, etc. and notify the recipient
- Order office supplies, copy paper and coffee service items as needed
- Give make up tests to students during their study hall
- Help to maintain good overall appearance of the lobby
