Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with experience in both industrial and commercial settings. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety protocols.
- Execute frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
Qualifications
- 4+ years Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with commercial electrician practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
- Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on safety compliance.
- Ability to use various hand tools and power tools effectively.
