Location: Santa Clara, California
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $41 - 46 per hour
We are seeking a highly collaborative Digital Content Manager for a 6-month contract to act as the primary program coordinator for a targeted content revamp and web redesign initiative. Serving as the central point of alignment between an external content agency, an external web design firm, and internal product marketing teams, this role ensures cross-functional work streams move synchronously toward shared launch goals. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of B2B tech experience, strong cross-team orchestration skills using JIRA and Figma, and the professional judgment required to manage complex content approval and stakeholder escalation workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the central coordinator across content writers, product marketing, and the web design - the person everyone looks to for status, direction, and alignment.
- Run weekly syncs across workstreams; keep all parties informed of priorities, dependencies, and upcoming decisions.
- Review content and design deliverables at each stage, identifying misalignments against our messaging framework before they reach approval.
- Work closely with product marketing to stay current on messaging updates or strategic shifts, and communicate relevant changes to the writing and design teams in real time.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to schedule input sessions and ensure content accuracy at the right stages of development.
- Own the content approval workflow - tracking reviews, routing to the right approvers (product marketing, portfolio marketing, or executive stakeholders), and managing feedback cycles to keep both phases on schedule.
- Exercise judgment on approval escalation: understand when product or portfolio marketing sign-off is sufficient and when a topic's strategic weight requires executive review.
- Maintain a clear, up-to-date view of page status across all 15-20 pages in scope and surface risks or blockers early.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in digital content production, content operations, or program coordination in a B2B technology environment.
- Proven experience working across content, design, and marketing teams simultaneously - you understand how each team thinks and what they need from each other.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships at multiple levels, including senior and executive approvers.
- Hands-on familiarity with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) as a publishing and content environment.
- Comfortable working in Figma to review design comps and provide informed feedback on content-layout interaction.
- Proficient in Jira or Workfront for project tracking and workstream management.
- Strong communicator with a natural instinct for clarity over assumption; skilled at translating between content, design, and product marketing perspectives.
- Understanding of UX content principles and how messaging hierarchy shapes page design decisions.
