The Home Boys is hiring a skilled Construction & Service Technician to help with manufactured home setup, service, repairs, and exterior close-up work.
We are looking for someone who has real construction experience and can work independently or as part of a crew. Experience with manufactured homes, mobile homes, modular homes, excavation, concrete, blocking, leveling, skirting, tie-downs, decks, patios, and site work is strongly preferred.
This position is hands-on and requires someone who is reliable, mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and able to solve problems in the field.
Responsibilities
Duties may include:
- Manufactured home service and repair work
- Blocking and leveling homes
- Installing and repairing skirting
- Tie-down and anchoring work
- Excavation and site prep
- Setting forms for concrete
- Pouring and finishing small concrete pads, sidewalks, patios, and related work
- Building and repairing decks, steps, landings, and patios
- Exterior close-up work after home delivery
- Trim, siding, belly board, access panels, and general repair work
- Reading basic plans, measurements, and work orders
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Communicating with managers, customers, and other crew members
- Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe
Preferred Experience
Qualified applicants should have experience with some or all of the following:
- Manufactured home setup or service
- General construction
- Concrete forming and finishing
- Excavation and grading
- Skirting installation
- Tie-downs and anchoring systems
- Decks, steps, landings, and patios
- Basic framing, siding, trim, and repair work
- Working around customers’ homes and active job sites
Manufactured home experience is a major plus, but we are willing to consider strong construction candidates who can learn quickly.

- Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and work outdoors
- Ability to use construction tools safely
- Must show up on time and be dependable
- Must be able to follow instructions and complete work properly
- Must be comfortable working in different weather conditions
- Must take pride in clean, professional work
Pay: $17.13 - $30.00 per hour
