Job Summary
With guidance from the nursing director, nursing coordinator and nursing faculty, this position will support the working environment of the Nursing Department. These jobs may be as follows: surveying lab spaces ensuring the equipment is clean and well maintained, light laundry duties and storage, technology updates for VR equipment and computer laptops. Perform other duties as delegated and appropriate for student work as assigned by nursing and CNA personnel.

Education/Qualifications
- Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
- Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
- Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Work as team member
- Foster a cooperative work environment
- Possess organizational skills
- Communicate effectively with nursing personnel
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Work will be performed primarily indoors in a standard office, classroom, clinical lab, or simulated healthcare environment.
- Subject to walking, sitting, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling and stooping – lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other business machines.
- Near vision sufficient to read written communication and computer display screens.
- Adequate hearing to communicate efficiently in person and by phone.
