Overview
We are seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be interfacing with existing clients and prospective clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle customer inquiries will be essential in ensuring a positive experience for our customers and potential clients. This position requires strong collaboration skills and a commitment to client satisfaction. This position offers a starting base annual salary of $60,000 with the opportunity to earn commissions on any new business.
Duties
- Prospect new accounts for Sales
- Obtain health and ancillary quotes with carriers for prospected clients
- Prepare /submit contracts and assemble materials for Open Enrollments to complete the sale of a new or renewal of existing groups
- Assistance with Data Entry
- Problem-solve client customer service issues
- Keep digital and paper files organized
- Communicate with clients in a timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and PHI guidelines - Providing information only on a need-to-know basis
- Travel - You may be requested to participate in day trips and overnight trips with the state of Montana for business purposes. However, we will take into account your family needs first
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or client services is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to analyze situations effectively and provide appropriate solutions.
- Proficient typing skills for accurate data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes and systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines
- Licensure in Health and Life preferred. Required to obtain within the first 90 days of employment (Paid by company).
