Position Overview
A CT Technologist plays a key role in delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging to support timely, accurate patient care. This role combines advanced technical skill with compassionate patient interaction in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce high‑quality diagnostic images
- Prepare, position, and educate patients before and during procedures
- Administer IV contrast per protocol and safety standards
- Monitor patients for comfort, safety, and clinical changes
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical teams
- Maintain equipment, follow radiation safety guidelines, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Document procedures accurately within the EMR and PACS systems
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography required
- Advanced certification in CT or eligibility to obtain
- State licensure as required
- BLS certification
- Strong patient‑care skills and ability to work in a collaborative clinical setting
- Experience in hospital or emergency imaging preferred
