Optical Lab Technician - Luxury Boutique
We are looking for an experienced, qualified, and motivated Optical Lab Technician to join our luxury boutique. With both part-time and full-time positions available, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an exceptional patient care experience. Located on the Upper West/East Side, the position requires flexibility in working at both locations. Key Responsibilities:
Lab Operations:
- Utilize manual lensometer for accurate lens measurements.
- Cut, drill, and groove lenses using the latest edging equipment.
- Clean finished lenses and eyeglasses using cloths and solvents.
- Adjust lenses and frames to correct alignment.
- Verify prescriptions and update status in the system.
Other Tasks:
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must be Experienced in this field.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on patient care.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
