We are seeking a Class A Shuttle Driver to join our team! The Shuttle Driver is responsible for loading (RPC, Totes, Pallets), transporting empty boxes to the fields and transporting full vegetable loads to our warehouse. This position is responsible for hauling various trailers to assist in multiple functions. These may include pickup of transplants trailers. This driver will be willing and able to safely navigate public roads and highways throughout Central and Northern California.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A License with doubles endorsement and airbrakes.
- 1 – 3 years of recent driving experience that required a Class A license.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
- Ability to work full agricultural schedule
- No DOT offenses in the previous 7 years or pattern of unsafe practices
- Not cited for a DOT defined accident in the previous 3 years
- Previous experience in truck driving or another related field
