We're partnering with a school to hire dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year with our client in Hennepin County, MN. This is an on-site contract role for 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to high school students in a specialized special education setting.
- Apply a trauma-informed approach to help create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary school-based support team to promote student success.
- Deliver individualized support in small-class settings to meet diverse student needs.
- Build strong relationships with students while supporting positive behavior and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current teaching license in ASD or EBD, or an active license in another subject area with willingness to obtain an Out of Field license.
- Experience working with diverse populations, or demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse learners.
- Ability to work effectively in a specialized special education environment supporting student behavioral and learning needs.
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices and collaboration with school-based teams.
