You’ll arrive to a clean, safe, and well-organized shop, review your blueprints, and set up your workcell for the day’s production. Throughout your shift, you’ll program, set, and run CNC equipment, verify quality with precision metrology, and keep machines in peak condition—so every part leaves the floor to spec.

Day shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Night shift: Sunday night–Friday morning, approximately 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Standard 50-hour workweeks

Run both manual and automated machine tools to produce tight-tolerance parts and instruments.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform minor repairs on machine tools and related equipment.

Interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, diagrams, and technical work orders to plan machining operations.

Inspect finished components with precision measuring tools to verify all dimensions meet specification.

Set up and dial-in CNC lathes, CNC mills, multi-spindle screw machines, and grinding equipment; make offsets and adjustments as needed.
