Our client, a higher education/student services organization, is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Executive Director for a 3-6 month temporary assignment with potential for permanent hire. This onsite role is based in Waltham, MA and pays $35/hour. The position will begin at 10-15 hours per week through early August, increasing to 30-35 hours per week, with a Monday-Friday schedule and early release on most Fridays. Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive support to the Executive Director and leadership team

Manage complex calendars, meetings, and scheduling

Serve as a primary point of contact for students, alumni, campus partners, and visitors

Coordinate departmental events, programs, and alumni engagement initiatives

Prepare presentations, reports, agendas, and meeting materials
-
Process invoices, reimbursements, and other financial transactions
-
Manage travel arrangements, expense reporting, and event logistics
-
Maintain databases, records, and administrative systems
-
Support special projects, strategic planning initiatives, and process improvements
Qualifications:
-
Prior Executive Assistant or senior administrative support experience
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
-
Experience supporting senior leaders or executives
-
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
-
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Slides)

Experience with Canva or similar design tools preferred
-
Ability to work independently and anticipate organizational needs
-
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
