Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory control, material handling, and warehouse operations that support our plumbing and HVAC service teams.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and a safe and clean warehouse environment. The manager coordinates with service, install, and procurement teams to support efficient job execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories
- Coordinate with purchasing and vendors to track orders and deliveries
- Supervise warehouse staff and manage scheduling, training, and performance
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety regulations
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Support service and install teams by preparing material orders and staging equipment for jobs
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss and discrepancies
- Collaborate with dispatch, procurement, and accounting to resolve inventory and supply issues
- Maintain records of tools, vehicles, and equipment assigned to field technicians
- Enforce company policies, safety standards, and OSHA compliance
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or construction industries
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software; experience with ServiceTitan is a plus
- Forklift certification and safe equipment operation skills
- Ability to lift 100+ lbs., work on feet, and operate machinery
- Leadership skills to manage and motivate warehouse team
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with purchasing, receiving, and vendor management
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, inventory software)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
