The Graphic Designer is responsible for creative visual concepts, using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and or captivate customers. The graphic designer helps develop the overall layout and production design for emails, catalogs, sales flyers, website and social media.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create visual sales flyers/emails
- Eye appealing catalogs
- Up to date website/social media
- Professional images of products
- Assist photographer in studio.
- Other duties to be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Graphic Design/Arts)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Bridge)
- Strong photo editing skills, including retouching product images.
- Thorough knowledge of computer imaging, editing techniques, color composition and general photo aesthetic.
- Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills, understanding of deadlines and customer focus.
- Photography and social media experience.
- Understanding of printing process, photography, illustration, and typography.
- Website editing experience and video editing (a plus).
Working conditions:
Office environment, occasional warehouse and showroom environment.
Occasional travel by airplane for trade shows.
Physical requirements:
Capable of lifting and moving tables, props and display structures.
Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full time position. The normal work week is 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. It will require Saturday and Sunday hours during peak times throughout the year.
