Position Overview
The General Manager oversees all daily operations within our South San Francisco production facility — including food production, packaging, inventory, logistics, and delivery coordination.
You’ll lead a dedicated team to ensure meals are produced efficiently, safely, and at the highest standard of quality. This is a hands-on, on-site management role that blends leadership, problem-solving, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily food production, packaging, and delivery logistics.
- Supervise and motivate department leads and staff to meet performance and quality goals.
- Ensure smooth communication between culinary, operations, and client service teams.
- Manage inventory control, product tracking, and reporting to minimize waste.
- Resolve operational or customer-related issues quickly and professionally.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency.
- Partner with leadership to forecast production needs and manage resources.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in food service or production management.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a “lead-by-example” mindset.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication skills; Spanish fluency a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (NSLP/CACFP experience a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
