Cypress Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care Residence is a family-owned and operated community in Sun City Center.
We are looking to hire a full-time Head Chef/Cook to be hands on and manage the culinary needs for our community.
Must be able to work any hours between the hours of 6am-6pm, and be available to work weekends and holidays as needed on rotation.
The job consists of:
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Cooking and prepping meals and desserts.
- Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality and are prepared to serve in a timely manner.
- Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications
- Ensure that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
- Monitor and record inventory as needed.
- Provide support to kitchen co-workers on various tasks as needed.
- Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations.
- Manage the kitchen team in the executive chef's absence.
- Assist with menu planning
- Weekly food and supply ordering
Qualifications/Education: High School diploma preferred.
Experience: Six months of food/beverage/hospitality experience.

TB test and Level II background check are required upon hire.
