MEP firm seeking a plumbing designer/engineer with experience in preparation of plumbing plans and specifications for commercial, industrial and institutional projects.
Responsibilities:
Candidate’s main responsibilities will include preparing construction drawings and specifications, supporting of senior Mechanical / Plumbing staff, performing submittal/shop drawing reviews, and conducting construction site reviews.
Project Types:
Types of projects performed will include: Commercial projects - Schools, Restaurants, Retail, and Physician offices.
Experience Required:
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in Plumbing Design
- Ability to identify applicable codes in project-specific jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with IBC, IMC, UMC, LEADS, IECC and any other mechanical / plumbing governing codes.
- Experience in AutoCAD and REVIT required
- Knowledge of BIM 360 required
- Experience using Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $78,222.33 - $94,203.23 per year

Experience:
