Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced contract installer (1099 independent contractor) to join our flooring installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing LVP, ceramic tile, carpet, and hardwood. Your expertise will ensure that installations are completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your technical skills, and contribute to creating safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. This is a full-time position with flexible hours - compensation is project-based.
Responsibilities
- Installing LVP, ceramic tile, carpet and hardwood flooring with precision and attention to detail.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations according to specifications.
- Measure dimensions using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction installation or related fields such as carpentry, masonry, or remodeling.
- Provide own tools
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes.
- Liability insurance - or willingness to obtain.
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, and flooring.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices (including tape measures), and perform dimensional measurements accurately.
- Knowledge of flooring materials installation techniques including tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, and flooring installation.
- Strong safety awareness with experience working on active construction sites in various environments.
- Reliable truck, utility van, or trailer.
- Valid driver's license.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
