Substitute teachers are responsible for implementing and teaching lesson plans and instructions as directed by the absent teacher, or consulting with the campus principal or other responsible staff if lesson plan is not provided
Qualifications:
First and foremost, an FCA Substitute Teacher must have a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. An FCA Substitute Teacher will have experience working with children and students; both a bachelor’s degree and a valid teaching credential are preferred. An FCA Substitute Teacher will be punctual and reliable and can communicate clearly and professionally (written and orally) with students, parents, administrators, and others and the ability to follow and enforce school policies and procedures.

Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom.

Follow all communication and documentation procedures as instructed.

Follow school procedures as instructed.

Communicate in a friendly, positive, and God-honoring manner with parents, students, and administrators.

Ensure student safety at all times.

Treat all school resources, equipment, and facilities with care.

Communicate with classroom teacher or office staff relevant information about the day (what was taught, any student issues, etc.)
