About the Role
As a Metal Fabrication Welder, you will play a vital role in our production team by executing precise gas metal arc welding (GMAW) processes to build and repair high-quality steel components. Your work directly impacts the structural integrity and reliability of the products we deliver to our clients, ensuring every weld meets rigorous industry standards.
Responsibilities-
Execute high-quality MIG welding on various steel parts to meet production deadlines and structural specifications.

Interpret technical blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication of metal components.

Operate industrial machinery, including grinders, drills, and banders, to prepare and finish welded surfaces.

Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify component dimensions.

Maintain a safe and efficient workstation by adhering to all industrial safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, to safely transport heavy materials.

Perform routine machine setups to optimize workflow and maintain consistent output quality.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and shop drawings.

Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to convert fractions to decimals and metric to imperial units.

Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift.

Effective communication skills in English for following instructions and safety documentation.

Completion of a formal welding apprenticeship or vocational certification program.

Prior experience operating industrial forklifts and overhead cranes.

Proven ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
