Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service operations.
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and restaurant offerings.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are tidy and accessible.
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience.
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service hospitality roles.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations.
- Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally, managing multiple inquiries efficiently.
- Previous restaurant experience, including familiarity with serving or hotel guest services, is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
