Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, beverages, and food items with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and basic math calculations for sales totals and change
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
- Assist in setting up, supporting, and breaking down event spaces to ensure smooth operations during special functions
- Handle food handling procedures responsibly, adhering to safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques
- Traveling to events and potential working at both farmers' markets and night markets.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee industry settings preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in retail or food service settings
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation, serving techniques, and food handling regulations
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales transactions and cash handling duties
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance
