We are looking for a motivated and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and grow within the HR department. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in Human Resources while taking on increasing responsibility in payroll, recruiting, employee support, and HR operations.
The right person will be someone who is eager to learn, takes ownership of their work, and wants to gain hands-on experience and grow their career in Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll once fully trained and able to manage the process accurately and independently.
- Handle day-to-day HR requests, including timekeeping, vacation requests, employee changes, and other forms.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including I-9s, W-4s, and employee changes in ADP.
- Support the onboarding process and ensure new-hire paperwork is completed accurately.
- Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and support the hiring process for hourly positions, with the goal of independently managing hourly recruitment.
- Assist employees with HR and basic benefits questions and direct them to the appropriate resources when needed.
- Track attendance and leaves of absence, including FMLA, short-term disability, and military leave.
- Develop knowledge of ADA, FMLA, and other applicable employment laws and HR practices.
- Assist with HR projects and cross-train with the HR Generalist to gain experience across multiple areas of Human Resources.

- Previous HR, payroll, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
