American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Float Pool M/S Telemetry position requiring 2 years of acute care and travel nursing experience, with night shifts and every other weekend availability.

Float Pool position requiring willingness to rotate across 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units throughout the hospital (Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow)

Patient population includes ED border patients, medication nurse responsibilities in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented transfer-ready ICU patients

Patient ratios: up to 5:1 on days/evenings and up to 6:1 on nights

Hospital has 371 beds; individual units range from 8 to 41 beds
-
Night shift: 19:00–07:30, with 1–3 rotations to days/evenings per contract

Every other weekend required

Charting system: Epic
-
13-week contract
-
Active Massachusetts RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted

Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required (AHA only — Red Cross and other providers not accepted at this facility)

Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience in a single location

Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience

Telemetry skills required: measuring intervals and interpreting tele strips every 4 hours

Experience with cardiac drips and TR Band required

2 references required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and reading and interpreting telemetry strips
