We are looking for experienced Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners. Candidates must be a licensed and practicing Registered Nurse in the state of MI with at least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse. Candidates must already be Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) trained and have previously worked as a SANE. The Sexual Assault Healthcare Program provides timely, non-judgmental, compassionate care to sexual assault patients. This includes a medical forensic exam, prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, photographic documentation, referrals for appropriate resources, medical follow-up, support, and participation in legal proceedings. The Sexual Assault Healthcare Program is open 24/7 365 days per year. This candidate will work variable hours to include overnight shifts.
Additionally, we require at least 3 on call shifts per month. In office hours available PRN.
