Responsibilities
Install commercial office furniture including:
- Workstations
- Private offices
- Height adjustable desks
- Seating
- Conference rooms
- Filing systems
- Casegoods
- Architectural walls and accessories
Read installation drawings and manufacturer specifications.
Safely load, unload, transport, and assemble furniture.
Drive company box trucks when assigned.
Communicate professionally with project managers, customers, warehouse personnel, and teammates.
Use company technology to complete project photos, reporting, timekeeping, and documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
Identify and resolve issues before they impact the customer or project schedule.
Qualifications
Commercial furniture installation experience is preferred, but we also welcome candidates with experience in construction, carpentry, cabinetry, moving, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or other skilled trades.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Professional with customers.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to travel overnight when projects require it.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving commercial furniture.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
DOT Medical Card or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for communication, reporting, and project documentation.
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
Required Tools
Basic professional tool kit including cordless drill, tape measure, level, utility knife, Allen key set, screwdrivers, pliers, work gloves, and other common installation tools.
Steel toe boots or shoes are required.
Professional work attire is required.
