Brightview Care is a rapidly growing provider of in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with Autism throughout Michigan. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced, driven, and people-focused HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team.
This is a dynamic role that combines Human Resources operations with full-cycle recruiting, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, finding great talent, supporting employees, and helping an organization grow.
You'll partner with leaders across the organization to recruit top talent, support employees throughout their employment lifecycle, maintain HR compliance, and contribute to creating an exceptional workplace culture.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical, administrative, and leadership positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Source candidates using job boards, social media, networking, and other recruiting channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communications.
- Extend offers and facilitate the pre-employment process, including background checks, references, and onboarding.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, hiring timelines, and workforce trends.
- Represent Brightview Care at job fairs, networking events, and recruiting initiatives.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes and employer branding efforts.
Human Resources
- Serve as a trusted HR resource by responding to employee questions regarding policies, payroll, benefits, leave requests, timekeeping, employment verification, and general HR matters.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Support managers with employee relations, policy interpretation, coaching, and HR best practices.
- Prepare employment verification letters and HR documentation.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.
- Escalate complex employee relations matters to HR leadership as appropriate.
HR Compliance
- Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, DHWIN, payer, and company requirements.
- Monitor employee compliance requirements
- Conduct routine personnel file audits to ensure complete and accurate documentation.
- Assist with internal, payer, and regulatory audits.
- Maintain confidential employee records in accordance with federal and state regulations.
HRIS & HR Operations
- Maintain accurate employee records within UKG.
- Process new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and terminations.
- Audit HR data for accuracy and completeness.
- Generate HR reports and workforce metrics.
- Partner with Payroll to resolve employee record and timekeeping issues.
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Assist with policy updates, process improvements, and special HR projects.
- Collaborate with Recruiting, Clinical Leadership, Scheduling, Payroll, and Operations to ensure smooth HR processes.
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience, including recruiting.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment.
- Experience with HRIS systems; UKG experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare, ABA, behavioral health, or home healthcare.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, DHWIN, and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting employee relations and HR compliance.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
