Warehouse Associate – 1st Shift | $19.00/HR | Stand-Up Forklift Experience Required
A growing, family-owned company in Kansas City, KS is looking to add a Warehouse Associate to their team! This is a great opportunity for someone with stand-up forklift experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a cross-trained position, so you'll operate a forklift while also performing manual warehouse duties such as order pulling, loading and unloading, and other general warehouse tasks.
Pay: $19.00/HR
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Kansas City, KS
Job Duties
- Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks manually and with forklift equipment
- Stack, organize, wrap, and label products for shipment
- Use scan guns and warehouse systems to track inventory
- Inspect materials for damage and report any issues
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures
- Complete other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Stand-up forklift experience required
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable performing both forklift operation and manual labor
- High school diploma or GED required
