Ruskin Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our Christ-centered learning community. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and nurturing the whole child in a supportive, faith-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum and standards
- Integrate biblical truth and Christian values into daily teaching
- Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and colleagues
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
- Support and model the mission, vision, and Statement of Faith of the school
Qualifications
- Personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Teaching certification preferred (private school experience welcomed)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children and Christian education
