Jersey Jungle and Jersey Sea - indoor playground inside Newport Mall- are looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic team members to join our growing team! We are currently hiring both full-time and part-time Play Center Attendants. Full-time availability is preferred.
Schedule Requirements
- Weekend availability is required
- Holiday availability is expected
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- English required; Spanish bilingual is a plus
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the playground, party rooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Clean and sanitize play equipment and high-touch surfaces throughout the day
- Monitor play areas for safety hazards and report maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with party setup and cleanup
- Welcome guests and answer basic questions about facility rules and policies
- Restock supplies and notify management when inventory is low
- Work with the team to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times
Important Note
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their own children at all times. This position focuses on maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment and does not involve supervising or providing childcare for children.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Weekend availability is required
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or cleaning is preferred but not required
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
