Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
- Provide skilled therapeutic intervention to infants, children, and adolescents.
- Educate and empower families through home programs and caregiver coaching.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, schools, and other healthcare providers.
- Complete documentation in accordance with clinic, payer, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current Mississippi Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for working with children and families.
Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Mentorship is available.
