REQUIREMENTS FOR SWIM INSTRUCTORS
As a swim instructor, you will teach students of all ages in accordance with the British Swim School aquatics program. Even if you are not an expert swim instructor, that’s ok! We can train anyone on how to teach the way we teach, but here is what we do need from you.
- You need to be a “swimmer”. Ideally, you have at least a basic understanding of all four strokes and an overall appreciation for the water. BSSPV will provide hands-on training to teach our curriculum
- You've got to love working with children and seeing them progress
- You need to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work. Having fun is mandatory!
- We have flexible schedules and four locations we teach out of. In addition to weekday shifts we also have weekend mornings (Saturday & Sunday) from approximately 10:00am-2:00pm
- Weekday shifts start between 3:00pm- 4:00pm and go to the early/mid evening (7p-8p)
- This position is based out of Gambrills, MD; however, you would be able to work at any of our locations. You need to be able to reliably commute to at least two of our three locations in the Gambrills/Linthicum Heights/Hanover area and/or the Glen Burnie/Halethorpe areas
