Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints and schematics to ensure precise installations. The Glazier will work closely with other construction professionals to deliver high-quality results on each project.
Duties

Install glass in windows, doors, skylights, and other structures according to specifications.

Measure and cut glass to fit specific dimensions.

Prepare surfaces for glass installation by cleaning and applying necessary adhesives or sealants.

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of glass installations.

Collaborate with contractors and other construction personnel on remodeling projects.

Fabricate custom glass pieces as required for unique installations.

Assemble frames and supports for glass installations using metal stud framing techniques.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites while performing duties.
Experience

Proven experience in glazing or a related field is preferred.

Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus.

Experience in cabinet installation and general remodeling is beneficial.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites.

Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics are essential.
