About path8
path8 is a video production company that partners with clients to tell amazing stories. We produce everything from brand films and testimonials to event coverage and social content. We're looking for a driven intern to join our team and get hands-on experience across production and post-production.
The Role
You'll be embedded in our production workflow, joining shoots, capturing content, and helping keep our post-production pipeline organized. This is a great fit for someone who loves being on set and is equally comfortable behind a laptop editing short-form content.ResponsibilitiesOn Set
- Join path8 shoots to capture behind-the-scenes (BTS) content
- Act as a Production Assistant (PA) where needed on shoot days
Content Creation
- Capture promotional content for path8's brand and social channels
- Edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms
Assistant Editing
- Break down and organize footage from shoots
- Create transcripts from interview and VO recordings
- General file and project organization within our post-production workflow
What We're Looking For
- Familiarity with filming and video editing (especially short-form content)
- A good eye for social-first storytelling
- Comfortable operating a camera in fast-paced, real-world environments
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a bonus)
- Self-motivated and organized
- Strong communication skills
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to get to shoot locations (Greater Boston area and occasional travel)
- A laptop capable of handling large video files
- Internet connection fast enough to download large assets
- No gear required, we provide everything you need on set

- Hours: 20 hours/week
- Duration: September 1 - December 23, 2026
- Location: Fully remote, with in-person attendance on shoot days
- Compensation: $15-20/hr depending on skills/experience (paid position)
