The Role
The IGA and PAM Sr. Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing and leading the implementation of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, with CyberArk as the primary PAM platform and Saviynt as the primary IGA platform. Day-to-day activities include defining target architectures, creating detailed design documents, and guiding the technical implementation of identity and access controls across cloud and on-premises environments. The role centers on architecting, deploying, and operating CyberArk PAM (Privilege Cloud, PAS/self-hosted, CPM, PSM, and related components), and integrating it with broader IGA and enterprise systems. The Sr. Engineer will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to integrate PAM and IGA tools with existing systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance. The Sr. Engineer will participate in project planning, prioritize requirements, and ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and business objectives. This role also includes reviewing existing identity controls, recommending improvements, and providing technical guidance and documentation to support ongoing operations.
Qualifications
- Deep, hands-on expertise with CyberArk as the primary PAM platform, including design, deployment, and operation of Privilege Cloud and/or self-hosted PAS, CPM, PSM, and vaulting architecture. CyberArk certification (Defender/Sentry) strongly preferred.
- Strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills for PAM and IGA solutions.
- Experience with Software Development and Integration in identity and access management environments.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities in delivering security or identity-related initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with additional IGA and PAM platforms (e.g., Saviynt, SailPoint, BeyondTrust, or similar) to complement the CyberArk focus.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their identity and access controls.
- Knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and risk management related to identity and access.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and clear documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional, remote teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, or vendor-specific identity/security certifications) are beneficial.
