Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic PART TIME Housekeeper/Laundry professional to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and laundry tasks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques such as sweeping, mopping, and buffing to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas to ensure availability of essentials for guests’ comfort
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning processes to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for timely resolution
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality service
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for efficient housekeeping operations
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to manage laundry operations effectively while ensuring proper handling of linens and clothing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
