The Home Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of a residential group home serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Home Manager with the leadership of the Program Manager, is responsible for providing therapeutic relationships, care and other related activities to individuals in both home and community settings. The Home Manager works a combination of daytime and evening hours and should demonstrate that 75% of their work time occurs when individuals need supports. Shifts may include early morning, afternoon, evening, overnight and weekends.
- Sign on BONUS of $1500.00 to new hires.
- The Home Manager is expected to alternate weekend duties with consistent supervision, coverage and support. The Home Manager is generally assigned 1 home
- The Home Manager is expected to assist individuals, family members and others with concerns in an empathic manner while respecting their confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year previous experience with persons having intellectual disabilities and/or senior citizens required.
- Valid driver's license from state of residency and acceptable driving record according to agency policy.
