Hutchison, Inc. “HW Brand” is a wholesaler that operates three manufacturing facilities. Selling HW Brand Livestock Equipment, HW Stock Tanks and a large distributor of Farm and Ranch products throughout the west. Position requires knowledge of our line offering and ability to communicate with current customer base and make cold calls for new business development. Travel is required to create relationships and develop increased business with our dealer base. THE TERRITORY FOR THIS POSITION IS UTAH and ARIZONA AND MAY INCLUDE PART OF NEVADA. RESIDENCY IN ONE OF THESE STATES IS REQUIRED AS WELL AS EXPERIENCE WITH FARM AND RANCH PRODUCT SALES.
- Ability to promote HW livestock equipment and farm and ranch products to be distributed throughout the territory.
- Represent Hutchison with a high standard of performance, conduct, and professionalism at all times
- Out of the office phone sales and traveling sales (approved by supervisor)
- Maintain regular business hours and accessible during the day
- Ability to work out of the Manchester, IA office location as needed
- Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, and transportation
- Recommend products to customers’ needs and interests
- Estimate or quote prices, and delivery dates
- Consult with clients after sales and providing ongoing support
- Providing support to existing customers
- Problem solving and good sound business decision making
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, taking direction of immediate supervisor and vice president of sales
- Monitor market conditions and competitors’ products prices, and sales
- Perform administrative duties, such as filling out daily call reports, preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, completing expense account reports, and meeting weekly and monthly goals.
Base Pay depending on experience and territory bonus opportunity.
