Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced CNA for an acute care hospital in LOS ANGELES, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with LTC, SNF, or subacute experience who enjoy working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
- Helping patients move safely, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulating.
- Taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, and oxygen saturation if trained).
- Assisting with feeding and monitoring food and fluid intake.
- Making beds and keeping patient rooms clean and organized.
- Answering call lights and responding to patient needs promptly.
- Observing and reporting changes in a patient's condition to the nurse.
Requirements
- Active CNA license.
- Minimum 1 years of CNA experience.
- Previous SNF, LTC, or Subacute experience required.
- Current BLS Certification.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Experience:
- Long term care: 2 years (Preferred)
- Skilled nursing facility: 2 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
