Customer Service & Operations Associate (Full-Time)
Start here. Grow into something more.
At BoxWave, we design accessories for some of the most exciting technology in the world — phones, tablets, gaming gear, and the devices still on their way to market. We're a small, close-knit team, and we're looking to welcome one more person into it.
You don't need prior experience. What you need is a willingness to learn, a dependable nature, and genuine care for the people you work with and serve. We'll teach you the rest. For the right person, this is a place to find your footing, develop real skills, and build a future you're proud of — alongside people who want to see you succeed.
What the work looks like
No two days are quite the same here, and that's by design. The work stays fluid and shifts with what each day calls for, so you'll always be learning. In a given week, you might:
- Be the voice customers trust — answering questions by email and phone, and resolving concerns with patience and care
- Guide customers to the right products and answer their questions with confidence
- Fulfill and ship orders — the hands-on, satisfying side of the work
- Publish product listings to our online store and present them well
- Explore the latest technology — researching new phones, gaming devices, and gadgets before they reach the mainstream
- Contribute to marketing — newsletters, ads, and writing product descriptions
- Keep operations running smoothly with inventory, organization, and the occasional errand
- Work both independently and as part of the team to see projects through
Who we're hoping to meet
- You communicate clearly and respectfully, in writing and in conversation
- You're dependable — people can count on you to show up and follow through
- You bring a strong work ethic and take pride in doing things well
- You're a team player who helps those around you do their best work
- You think creatively and aren't afraid to suggest a better way
- You're organized and manage your time well
- You have an eye for the details others overlook
- You welcome feedback and act on it
- You're comfortable with computers and the basics of Microsoft Office
- You're a high school graduate (or equivalent) and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Any prior customer service, office, or e-commerce experience is a welcome bonus
If you don't meet every point above, we'd still encourage you to apply. Character and potential matter to us as much as a checklist.
A word of honesty: we don't expect perfection, and we won't ask it of you. Worthwhile things take effort. We're looking for someone who understands that — who can see what isn't working yet and help make it better, and who is honest with themselves about what real growth requires.
Room to grow — and the support to get there
We believe in ambition, and in the steady, shared effort it takes to reach it. The people who bring that combination — vision paired with a genuine work ethic — are noticed and valued here. Show up consistently, work hard, contribute ideas, and support your teammates, and you'll find opportunity opens up for you in both responsibility and pay.
As you learn the work and grow more efficient at it, that progress becomes one of the most direct paths to earning more. We're not simply filling a seat. We're inviting someone to establish themselves and invest in something that, in turn, invests right back in them. As the company grows, those who helped build it grow with it.
If you're someone who wants to develop yourself and be recognized for the effort you put in, you'll find a real opportunity here.
What's ahead
The role continues to open up over time. In the months to come, team members will have the chance to take part in internal growth projects now in development — new online platforms, online games, research into emerging technology, and creating content and media for a wide audience. There's genuine room to stretch into new areas and discover where your strengths lie.
