Duties
- Safely oversee/operate a small fleet of commercial vehicles (light duty trucks to medium duty dump trucks) in accordance with all safety regulations.
- Safely oversee/operate a small range of equipment in accordance with all safety regulations.
- Create, adhere to, and provide routine maintenance plan on fleet and equipment
- Load and unload equipment using appropriate machinery/manual handling techniques while adhering to safety standards.
- Drive various local routes for parts, equipment and material delivery.
- Oversee pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Manage cargo securely during transit, ensuring proper load distribution and adherence to weight limits (rare)
- When required, maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, maintenance records, and route documentation (rare)
- Proven experience in light to heavy duty mechanical repair and maintenance with a focus on precision performance and motivated management
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle type.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operations.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on timely work orders.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
Experience:
- Auto Mechanic : 5 years (Preferred)
- Heavy Duty Mechanic: 5 years (Preferred)
- Welding: 3 years (Preferred)
